“I want to inspire people and bring them to day trading,” said Edgar R. a student in grade 9 who has started gaining attention at school through his TikTok channel and merch brand, he is also known as Edi Tradezz.
We spoke directly with Edi to understand why he started his TikTok account and merchandise brand. In our conversation, he explained how his interest in trading inspired him to create content that combines helpful trading tips with creative, engaging videos. His goal, he said, is to make financial topics easier to understand while building a supportive community online.

“He [TJR (Tyler Jame Riches)] inspired me, and I want to do the same thing,” said Edi Tradez, explaining what motivated him to start his channel.
Edi’s main goal is to help others learn from his own experience. He shares trading basics while keeping his videos entertaining. He mixes information with humor, including dance videos and personal moments, to keep viewers interested.
“I want them to gain information about trading and learn from my experience,” said Edi Tradez.
Along with TikTok, Edi also launched his own merch brand. He said he wants people to recognize him quickly and connect his face with his brand. Even though the merch is still new, many students already know about it and have strong opinions.

“I want to be a global icon, and I want my face to be recognized immediately,” said Edi Tradez.
Students shared mixed reactions to Edi’s content and merch. Some said his videos taught them about trading, while others watched mainly for entertainment.
“The content that he posts is very correct, and he teaches me a lot about trading,” said Niklas, 9th grade.
Others focused more on fun.
“They’re very entertaining, especially his dance videos,” said Hailey, 9th grade.
Several students liked Edi’s personality but felt the merch prices were too high. “I think it’s kind of overpriced,” said McKynna, 9th grade, adding that she would consider buying cheaper items.
Whether students follow Edi Tradez for trading advice, motivation, or fun videos, his growing presence shows that big goals can start right in school—and grow one post at a time.
