Grade 8 Speaks Out!

Grade 8 hosted the first Speak Out Festival in the Middle School this week. They had studied advocacy topics in many subjects, including English, Math, I&S, German, Art and Music. They then combined what they learned in at least two subjects to create a protest movement about a topic they care about. Students wrote songs, created posters and produced artwork to show to the MIS community throughout the day in order to speak out and create change!
