Cat or Dog?

Why do you like the cat or dog so much? That’s what I wanted to find out. In this article we will look at people’s close opinions on why they like the dog or the cat. Is there really an answer to my question? If you want to find out, read the article!

First, let’s find out what people say about cats and dogs.  I have asked my parents and a friend what their opinion is.  

“Dogs are too hyper”, said Red G10.

 “The dog is more open and part of the family,” said one parent

“The dog is more turned to the human.”

From the quotes above we can see that 2 people like the dog more because it is more turned to humans. The dog is a very communicative animal, which means that the two people will plan to take a lot of time for the dog to be able to take care of it correctly. Dogs can also make you feel better in the hard times of your life, which is useful for people who have a lot of problems and need to deal with stress. The people above who like cats more would prefer to have a calm independent and gentler character instead. It is stated that cats are very independent and can take care of themselves while a dog fully relies on you and would also die if you would not be there.

“Because cats are amazing obviously!”, said Red G10.

 “It will be easier to connect with the person if they have a similar interest like you”, said one parent.

I myself don’t have an opinion on which pet is better because I think both are amazing in their own and unique way but the three people I interviewed want others to think the same because they want to be able to create new connections with people about a topic, they can all discuss about which I think is a very valid reason. This will allow them to be more open to other people and create relationships more easily. Red wants people think the same about cats because they are amazing for those people that’s just a point which is totally understandable because a cat is a cuddly pet you would for sure like to have. I think all of these reasons are really valid. Now you just have to choose what do you like more cat or dog or are you like me who likes both?

“Dogs are too high energy. Dogs jump on you,” said Red G10.

The people who think that dogs are better want people to think the same because dogs can be trained and listen to commands which is a fair statement because dogs often work hard to please their owners if it is tricks or going to the vet. On the other hand, the people that liked cats more said they wanted people to think the same because dogs jump on you and are high energy. This is partially true because if a dog is well trained enough, it won’t jump on you. It is true that they are hyperactive but because of that they will notice when you are in a time of crisis and help you cope with your problems.

In conclusion it is all depending on what pet you like more and what type of person you are. If you get a cat or a dog is depending on if you are a person who prefers to be quiet and doesn’t have a lot of time or if you are a person who has a lot of time and prefers company so there is no real answer to the question of “what is better the dog or the cat”.
